Is Vertical Farming The Next Big Thing?

This week, let’s talk about vertical farming.

Before we talk more, I think you should watch these two videos:

Urban gardening as a concept has been around for a while now. The thesis is simple.

People like gardening – but they don’t have space. They also don’t have lights, and the plants don’t get to stay in their natural habitat.

Urban planning attacks those problems from different angles.

Let’s look at some data points first:

• With food prices on the rise, people want guaranteed access to fresh produce. Price is not the only problem; we have bad quality food that can be deadly. Putting colour on food is still a much common practice than you think. Everyone wants “healthy”

• The urban farming market is set to jump from $174.23 billion in 2025 to $233.61 billion by 2029 (7.6% CAGR).

• The vertical farming segment alone could grow from $9.6 billion in 2025 to $21.12 billion by 2029 (21.8% CAGR).

• Leafy greens lead the pack, but strawberries, herbs – everything is growing rapidly.

• Vertical farming uses less water, less land, and is a 100% winner that can attack this market.

Let’s look at a few examples:

• Plenty: They’re not a service business, but they’re a great example of a brand doing large-scale vertical farming.

• Ambius: Specializes in “living walls” and green spaces for offices and retail spaces.

• Click & Grow: Offers smart indoor garden kits that basically take care of themselves. I have a Click & Grow product. I used it for 1 year. They have a good FB group too if you want to join and see the vibe.

• Tower Garden: Provides aeroponic towers perfect for urban settings, along with setup and ongoing support.

Here are the business opportunities I see:

Design & installation of Indoor Gardens

• There’s a growing demand for services that set up small vertical farms at homes, restaurants, and corporate buildings. It is more of a B2B business than a B2C one.
• Offer subscriptions for maintenance and upgrades.

A Product Business

• No one is stopping you from importing those verticle gardens from China and selling them in Bangladesh. That’s an easy business.

I think it can also be an educational business – with gardening being an education / non-screen based entertainment option for kids. But I am not sure how to go about it yet.

Gardening as a category will keep growing. I don’t think it will ever stop. With urbanization coming in – we will need newer and newer angles and solutions, but people will always want to grow their own food.

The question is, how will you address that market?

Ai Travel Photo Generators Are Making a Lot of Money

I had a crazy idea last week. Here’s the premise.

AI influencers have been on the rise for the last 24 months. We have seen many AI influencers doing very well in different parts of the world. We have even seen headlines like this:

Every country now has at least one AI influencer (Bangladesh has 2-3 already), and they are doing well.

I think the market is now mature enough to have specific niche influencers.

Let me elaborate.

Every market goes through phases.

Initially, we see big, large nets. A social media like Facebook where you can do it all (post photos, post videos, chat, join groups, etc.).

After the big giant ones become successful, new companies come up with niche/specific solutions and try to capture the market. Example: Even though Facebook exists, WhatsApp came in where you can only “chat” and became successful.

The same theory applies everywhere.

Initially, there are general influencers, and then there will be specific topic-based influencers.

And that’s where the opportunity is.

I think it is time for us to start thinking about creating topic-based AI influencers.

Here’s how I will do it:

Step 1: Deciding what topic to choose. I won’t be doing too much research here. I will simply pick one of the big ones (Food, Travel, Health, etc.).

Step 2: Once I know the topic, I will create the handle and use something like RenderNet to create a realistic AI influencer.

Step 3: I will then use one of the topic-based AI generators to generate images. For example, if I go for travel, then I will use something like this: Galaxy AI Travel Photo Generator.

Step 4: The first three steps are easy—the actual work starts here. This is when you start thinking about the narrative. Who are you? Who do you want to be? What market to target? Why?

It is a grind, it will take time, but eventually, you will be able to become an AI travel influencer from your bedroom.

How will you make money?

• Sponsored posts and stories
• Own products/services
• Some affiliate commissions here and there

It is a very interesting opportunity that you get once in a lifetime.

I recommend that you spend a week and do some research.

Step-by-Step Playbook to Start a Niche Website:

1️⃣ Be super specific in your topic selection. Pick one small topic for one small group of people. Example: Shoe pain for hikers, restaurant options for Keto diet followers, etc.

2️⃣ Build a great-looking website. This is your shop—make it look professional and trustworthy.

3️⃣ Use opt-ins and build loyalty. Start YouTube, Instagram, or an email list—don’t rely 100% on SEO traffic.

4️⃣ Write 100 articles based on your research and interest. Ignore keyword volume or data—focus on providing value.

If you do this right, you will have a money-making business in 24 months. I can almost guarantee that. I’ve proven it many times—publicly and privately in our course—and I can do it again in 2025.
